Sarah has worked with various age ranges of students and in many school settings for 20 years. She has managed cognitive, test preparation, and academic learning centers for over 12 years. She attended the University of Kansas and received a Bachelors in Social Work in 1999. She also attended Northeastern State University and received a teaching certificate in 5 - 9 grades.
Bethany is a former elementary teacher who went on to manage her own tutoring business for 5 years, and teach at GradePower Learning for 2 years. During that time, she worked with children K-12 grade as well as college students in over 30 subjects, including math, reading, writing, science, ESL, test prep, and study skills. She has also co-written patent-pending assessments and developed curriculum. She attended Oral Roberts University and graduated with a Bachelors in Communications in 2002.
Candace has been with the GradePower Learning team since November 2015 and is the first face most parents and students see when walking in the door. She attended Rogers State University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 2016. She was an All American softball player while in college, representing the USA in Europe.
Newly added to the team, Sarah joined GradePower Learning in September 2016 to work with our growing number of Advantage students. She has 3 years of experience in an office setting, as well as experience working with children K-8 grade. She plans to graduate from Rhema Bible College in 2018 and pursue pastoring.
Your students will maintain their academic skills while having fun this summer! GradePower Learning provides services in reading, writing, spelling, math, Spanish, study skills, homework support, and many more. Sessions can be scheduled between 9am and 6pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or between 9am and 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday. In addition, students can get prepared to take the ACT or SAT exam with our test prep program. Also, this year, we are offering a full-time summer camp May 30 - August 4 for grades K-5. Camp will begin each day at 9 am and run until 5 pm. Students will work on reading, writing, math, and having fun! There will be daily activities, crafts, field trips, movies, and the like, in addition to academics.
