    Position Details

    GradePower Learning Fruit Cove, FL is looking for an upbeat, dynamic part-time High School Math/Science teacher who wants to work in a challenging and rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong background in Math and Science and must be comfortable teaching students in Grades 9 – 12 at all levels in both subjects. 

    We focus on cognitive personal development and look for individuals who will honor GradePower Learning teaching methods and philosophy in a fun environment.  We will train you in our innovative Interactive Coaching methods that teach students how to learn and study more effectively.

    Specific Qualifications:

    • Experience in either teaching or tutoring high levels of math
    • Teacher certification is preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree or fourth-year university students with extensive tutoring experience.
    • Must have extensive knowledge of the current 9th-12th-grade math and science curriculum including but not limited to Advanced Functions, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Chemistry, and Biology

    Position Details

    GradePower Learning, Fruit Cove is looking for committed, reliable and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with students in Grades 1-8. Our Elementary Core Programs offer individual support to students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits. Our students are working to develop either their reading, writing and/or math skills.

     

    Our teachers:

    • Offer individualized instruction, guidance and support to students to improve their core academic skills (reading, writing and/or math), thinking skills, learning strategies, and study habits

    • Build confidence, motivation and an active-mind in students

    • Establish a fun learning environment

    • Have a passion for teaching and are dynamic, energetic, reliable and demonstrate great initiative

     

    Candidates must possess:

    • Certified Teacher or currently working towards it

    • Strong English language written and oral communication skills

    • Strong ability to organize and multi-task

    • Strong motivational skills and an ability to keep students on task

    • A passion for teaching and working with children

    • The ability to problem solve and think critically

Home Schoolers Day Academy

GradePower Learning Fruit Cove's Day Academy is a revolutionary educational structure that blends academic, cognitive, motivational and subject content into an advanced learning system. Students attend classes August through May, from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm, (3.5 hours) Monday through Friday with an option of attending classes two, three, four, or five days a week!
