Manisha has owned GradePower Learning in Cary since 2023. She has an MSIT in Information Systems from UNC Charlotte and an Early Childhood Education Administration Diploma from Durham Tech. After a 15-year career in the information technology industry, Manisha combined her love of education with her passion for helping students and chose GradePower Learning for its superior cognitive-based approach to learning and its curriculum. She handles the administrative and business details of GradePower Learning but might tutor some subjects as the need arises. GradePower Learning in Cary has assembled an extremely qualified staff of knowledgeable and caring teachers who are all about the students!

Amy homeschooled her three children for over eighteen years collectively, taught at Faith Point Academy in Cary for two years and then began tutoring at GradePower Learning in 2020. She has a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. She loves connecting with her students individually in order to effectively tailor their learning. She believes that each student presents a new opportunity for mutual growth, which is the most exciting facet of teaching. As Educational Director, she is passionate about facilitating a successful learning experience for everyone involved.

Lily joined our staff in 2024 to coordinate educational programs and support high school students with English Language Arts. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP), where she graduated summa cum laude. Before joining GradePower Learning, Lily was a Writing Consultant at UNCP for 3.5 years. She also works as a Project Manager for a marketing agency. Lily is dedicated to exploring diverse teaching styles, working on essay construction, and tailoring our curriculum to meet students’ needs.

Justin joined GradePower Learning in the summer of 2022 as a math tutor. He received a BS in Mathematics, and a MS in Analytics, both from NC State University. He also had two and a half years' experience as a tutor and/or teaching assistant. He greatly enjoys seeing students learn and grow, and aims to empower them with more confidence in their math skills.

Jack has Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric with a Creative Writing focus from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as, a Master of Fine Arts with a focus in Poetry and Literature from Arizona State University. He was a recipient of the Piper Writer's House Fellowship and the Mabelle Lyon's Poetry award. Jack also taught and designed English courses at Arizona State University for six years. Currently, he is Editor-in-Chief of the Forum: a publishing company based in Raleigh focused on review writing and interview-based journalism. He joined our team to fulfill a desire to continue fostering students to develop a love for writing as well as to excel in its disciplines.
