No student — no matter how academically advanced — is immune from the effects of summer learning loss. By taking a two-month break over the summer, your child can lose much of the information they learned over the school year. Our summer learning programs help students maintain their learning momentum while catching up on missed concepts and getting a head start on next year's curriculum.
With flexible scheduling and a fun, positive atmosphere, GradePower Learning summer programs are easy to fit in around camps and vacations. Individualized plans ensure that your student is working to fill in skill gaps so that next year is your child's best year yet.
Summer classes are filling fast, so call today to reserve your spot.

Micheal R. ***** GradePower Learning has been nothing short of life-changing for my son! This is not an overnight success, but with the guidance and educational plan provided by Jan and her coaches, he has gone from severely below grade level to now being a grade level ahead academically. Not to mention his growth in maturity and overall love for school now. There are not enough positive things to say in regards to Jan’s dedication to each and every student that comes through those doors, as well as her staff. She will attend parent-teacher conferences, reach out to your child’s teacher to understand what is being actively taught, then take that and cater to your child’s exact needs, all while still teaching them the basic foundations to be successful no matter what level they are at currently. I will always recommend GradePower Learning for any academic needs! You are family and Jan will make sure you feel that way. We will always remain thankful we stumbled across GradePower Learning in our son's most critical years. Thank you very much for everything you have done, and continue to do for him!

I can't say enough good things about GradePower Learning and the staff! We came in desperate for help in all areas of my son's academia: He was well below average in all areas of study. After taking the assessment, my son's attitude started to change because he realized he was smarter than what his grades (this change was immediate). I have watched my son go from a D student to making honor roll, reading at grade level, and even making plans for college. Ms. Vicki, (one of the dedicated staff members) even took time out of her day to give him a tour of the St. Petersburg College campus, keeping him engaged with planning for his future. We don't live close, but we make the drive two days a week because we have experienced the results. He is making college plans, and this mother could not be any happier! Thank you Jan, Randy, Lauren, and all the staff at GradePower Learning! With your help, my son will be able to do anything he sets his mind to!

Two Thumbs Up for Grade Power
"My Son goes to GradePower Learning with Ms. Jan twice a week since they opened here in Largo. During the time he has been here I have witnessed a change in his attitude toward learning. His comprehension of letters, vowels, and sounding out words has been beyond my expectations for a 4/5yr old! He tells me he enjoys his teachers/educators. Their warm welcome when he arrives and a soft goodbye when he leaves has not gone without notice! I HIGHLY recommend this tutoring/educational facility to EVERY PARENT who wants their child to not only succeed in education but to be ahead of others! We Thank you for all your efforts and hard work! " -Oishii

“The great thing about GradePower Learning is that we change the way students think about learning. GradePower Learning is the only learning center that assesses both learning and academics skills. We teach kids to “Learn how the Learn”. I love GradePower Learning’s curriculum and methodology, because it corrects the root cause of the student’s struggles, which builds a strong foundation for them to learn and be successful for the rest of their lives.” Randy spent the first 26 years of his professional life in the business world. He worked for three years in banking, as a commercial loan officer, and 23 years working for the leading golf and ornamental nursery supply company in the eastern United States. He left to follow his passion: Helping kids! Randy has always loved mentoring and coaching kids. “Coach Randy” has coached baseball, soccer, basketball and flag football, in addition to running a three sport youth league at his church in Lakeland, Florida. Randy is a graduate of the University of Florida, and remains an avid Gator fan. He has been married to Jan for over 26 years, and they have three adult children.

Kelly graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Family, Youth & Community Sciences and a minor in Communication Disorders. Kelly worked as a resident intern at the Gator Wesley Foundation during her time at UF. Through her work at the student ministry and her studies, Kelly knew her passion was to help. She held an internship with the Urban Mission Training Center, which provided tutoring and mentorship to low-income elementary and middle school children in Ocala, FL. After this internship, Kelly joined the administrative team at Interfaith Emergency Services, a food pantry, homeless shelter, and school-backpack feeding program also located in Ocala. She initially provided administrative support to the family shelter and later served as the volunteer coordinator. Her favorite part of working at Interfaith was sharing with kids, both in the classroom setting and in volunteer groups, about the importance of giving back to the community and serving those less fortunate than themselves.
When the opportunity to work with kids full-time presented itself through GradePower Learning, she was beyond excited! Kelly most enjoys helping students increase their confidence and sense of pride in their academic achievement. Kelly enjoys theatre, music, and cheering on the Gators with her husband Jorge.
